We're opening the Expo for the World Road Running Championships 26, and we're thrilled to unveil our programme for the whole week! The World Championships are back in Copenhagen, and it's set to be bigger than ever before.

Our role involves building and running the Expo, and it's a job we're once again taking on as we transform Forum into the world's largest dedicated running store. With that responsibility comes a range of commitments to showcase the very best the running world has to offer.

You can also find out more about the activities we're setting up at our store on Nørre Farimagsgade 65, where you can, among other things, commemorate your World Championship performance.

Bigger than ever seen in Denmark

When we open this year's Expo, it will be on a scale never seen before in Denmark. This year, both the ground floor and the first floor will be in use, meaning we're expanding the running universe – so you can meet more brands, enjoy more experiences, and find more inspiration than ever before.

We're extremely proud that we've managed to pull this off together with our great partner, Sparta.

Official 2026 World Championship merchandise

There's only one place you can get your hands on this year's official merchandise, which we've developed together with ASICS – and that's at the Expo. ASICS is an official World Championship sponsor, and we're proud to exclusively present this year's merchandise.

We're celebrating every day at the Expo

We're opening Forum every day from Wednesday to Saturday. You can visit all the great brands we've invited along for the week and experience the fantastic running atmosphere we can't wait to create. Here are a few highlights from the Expo:

Merchandise

The official merchandise is sold exclusively at the Expo – nowhere else. First come, first served.

This year's Food Court is bigger than ever – perfect if you need to quench your thirst or curb your hunger.

We're extending our opening hours this year to improve the flow at the Expo and accommodate even more people than usual. Merchandise, products, and shoe sizes are first come, first served.

Special events throughout the week

FRIDAY 18/9

Official Shakeout Run

7:00–8:30 AM

Together with Sparta, we're kicking off race weekend with a classic shakeout run starting and finishing outside the Expo. Afterwards, we'll have coffee and a bite to eat for everyone. The run is 5 km at an easy pace.

SATURDAY 19/9

Race Day for the One Mile and 5K

10:10 AM–4:00 PM

The action kicks off with the two shorter World Championship distances – follow the world's elite and all the happy amateur runners.

Runners Area before and after the race

8:30 AM–4:00 PM

Meet us in the Runners Area in Fælledparken before and after the race. We'll have the store on hand with sharp prices on ASICS running clothes and shoes, plus energy from High5 – and 2026 World Championship merchandise.

SUNDAY 20/9 — RACE DAY

All activities at LØBEREN Copenhagen – Runners Area is in Fælledparken

Nørre Farimagsgade 65 – a stone's throw from Nørreport Station.

Cheering Zone

9:00 AM–4:00 PM

We're turning the entire area outside our store into a fantastic cheering zone, decked out in red, with a DJ all day long. Just a stone's throw from Nørreport Station.

Runners Area

8:30 AM–4:00 PM

The area you'll come out into once you've crossed the finish line. We'll have the store on hand with sharp prices on ASICS running clothes and shoes, plus energy from High5 – and 2026 World Championship merchandise.

Medal Portraits

12:00–4:00 PM

Our photographer will take your medal portrait with your World Championship medal – regardless of distance. It's free, and you'll get the photos digitally right away.

Free Bar & Discounts

12:00–4:00 PM

We're opening the fridge, with and without alcohol. Get 25% off all running clothes and shoes – with your medal.

MONDAY 21/9 — MEDAL MONDAY & RECOVERY DAY

Medal Monday – professional portrait photo with your medal

12:30 PM–3:00 PM

Same deal as the day before. If you didn't get your medal portrait taken, you can also get it done on Monday. Still free.

Recovery Monday – 20 minutes of free massage

10:00 AM–2:00 PM

We're once again joined by RECOVR LAB, who'll get your legs ready to go again with 20 minutes of free massage in our courtyard. Book your slot by emailing [email protected] with your preferred time – first come, first served.
